On arrival you will be asked routine questions about the dog’s health and temperament, going on to discuss styling requirements.
The dog will usually be left in my care for you to collect at an agreed time.
After a comforting stroll in the garden for your dog to settle and relieve himself, the “grooming” normally follows the procedure described below.
Brief check of coat condition and general health
Pluck and clean ears
Trim nails as required
Groom out and de-matt
Bath in appropriate shampoo (condition if necessary)
Blow dry
Style as requested
Each dog is an individual and the service will be tailored to suit each dog and their owner. I work on a one-to-one basis and provide a calm environment to make each visit as stress-free as possible.
A file is kept for each dog, detailing all aspects of each visit. Any problems noted with regards to health or behaviour will be reported immediately to the owner. An honest account of how the dog coped with the experience will always be relayed to the owner.
